About Me

I'm Zelkova. This is just a little website to talk about my hobbies (outside of art, which I have another site for).

I like anime/manga, jrpgs, playing the cello, and taking care of houseplants. I like hiking as well, but I'm not sure how bloggable that is.

My tastes in anime tend to lean more towards stuff made in the 90s (I just like the styles better); I have a tendency of mostly playing 10-15 year old video games 'cuz I can find them for $7. 8D

I made this site because I missed having a personal blog on cohost, but there wasn't really anywhere else I could have a 1-for-1 experience of that. At least with neocities I get to make stuff cute.

About the Site

The site layout was made using the sadgrl layout builder.

Most of the art used in layouts is official art from Sailor Moon. (Mostly drawn by Naoko Takeuchi, but there's also some from Ikuko Itoh and possibly some other board artists from the original anime).

There are also a few little geocities-era gifs that I have around for internet preservation reasons, but can't properly attribute.

Individual blog pages for other media also use official art from those franchises.

The diamondy background around the site is a CSP pattern. The background for the garden page was drawn by me!!!!
